Friday Night’s creative display in Southern California’s Bohemian District showcased some of the best of the best we enjoy here within the City of San Diego. The festivities kicked off at U-31 located at 3112 University Ave at 8pm (definitely a favorite local venue) and continued on until around 11pm. The Artist’s showcasing their pieces were all the right amounts of progressive and visually captivating and the fashion designers stylistics set the tone of the night, each bringing their own unique flavor and flair. Conversations flowed easily and there were smiles and laughter in abundance as the crowds enjoyed amazing house music by a great local Live DJ. The nights finale was The Fashion Show which brought the Rack to the Runway on beautiful models that gave it that international feel that only Vixen can bring. In all it was fierce and fun night tailor-made for getting your the weekend started off right. I left feeling filled up but anxious to see what just what hot new designers, artists, and fresh faces i would be seeing at the next event!
